Milk-Miyagi

Actors crossing racial, national, sexual and even gender lines is a pretty common occurance, usually accompanied by complaining by people on either side of the debate.  Here are a few examples:

1.  Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi

Jackie, who is Chinese, will be playing the Japanese Mr. Miyagi in the unnecessary Will Smith produced birthday present remake of The Karate Kid, starring Will’s son Jayden.

Who would have been more “appropriate”?   Sonny Chiba.  Wax on, wax off, and by “wax off” he means rip his balls off.
